Germany look very lightweight up front, imagine Gomez being your first choice striker

gomez will be fine, he is in great form

Looks like Hodgon judged over the last game where Drinkwater wasn't at his best, but Wilshere was decent.

Don't agree with his decision either tho

Wilshere played well for England during the qualifiers, I'm not a big fan of him but he has a good track record for England imo. Hodgson should have taken Wilshere and Drinkwater, leaving out Henderson instead. He's been injured for a lot of the season and didn't play particularly well when he wasn't.

This.

Wilshere hasn't played alot at all, but a fit Wilshere (as he is right now) is always a good asset to the team. He always performs for England. Having said that, Drinkwater deserved a spot aswell.

It's not even that he didn't get in ahead of wheelchair. It's that we're taking Henderson who has been shit all season, milner who is literally just a Headless chicken, Sturridge that is running at about 10% effectiveness and Rashford that scored one scuffed shot against a dreadful Australia then spent the next hour running straight into defenders. Sterling who can't get a fucking game for man city anymore.

If Rashford came through the west brom academy and scored those goals he wouldn't be anywhere neeeeear the England squad.

Its typical woy got to please the masses again.

Got the perfect set up to make a nice flat 4-4-2 and have a go but instead we have to stick with the same 2 formations that spank San Marino but fail against anyone bigger than Switzerland.

Agreed for the most part, Defoe should be over Rashford. 15 premier league goals for a dog shit team, but he doesn't play for Man U so...

I do disagree about Milner though, the dude has had a very good season, the best season out of any England midfielders except Drinkwater
