Exactly, I can't blame RvP for going to Manu since he was desperate for that PL trophy, these players aren't getting any younger.

Fuck. You guys are so lucky to be getting Suarez imo. I rate him as the best striker in Europe, he creates chances for himself as well as others, and hes so instinctive with his runs and shooting.

This is coming from a concerned Man City supporter, who would see Arsenal + suarez as genuine title contenders

I support Inter, and naturally I favor an Italian team because I was born there. However in australia we get best coverage of the EPL and that is the main league of coversation here. So I have an EPL team as well that I support
(I don't have a spanish or german or french team, I just support these 2)

Alright here is my opnion on the whole Suarez saga, and a message to the liverpool fans:

He wants to leave, that's very clear right now. And as sad as it is, in this day of football contracts are usseles, this latest info provides that Suarez will leave no doubt, and that he will be boo'd by pool fans all over the globe.

There is no point in keeping a player if he doesn't want to stay, they end up rotting on the bench, instead of making some money of them.

Now I know how this feels pool fans, trust me we have had it to much aswell, and if Suarez were to join, I can see him pulling the same stunt against us to join Real or whatever, as he is doing to you guys right now.

So I can absolutely understand the anger coming towards pool fans, but in the end you just have to thank him for what he did to the club, as I do for RvP

I do feel your pain, and if it were up to me I would have wanted him to stay at pool since they did do so much for him.

Nonetheless, a player is never bigger than the club. Pool will get over this as we did over RvP, this transfer saga is one that you just simply can't win.

I truly understand Luis, and i feel no hate towards him, except that i don't see Arsenal as a club that much better than Liverpool.
I mean, let's get real, Arsenal is a great club and such, and has proved they can get Champions League every year for god knows how long, but the scenario that Arsenal fails to qualify for CL next year isn't that far away with all the clubs competing for CL Like Chelsea, Man United, Man City, Tottenham, Arsenal and possibly Liverpool/Everton
And again, no offence but Arsenal.. even with Suarez isnt PL title contenders nor CL title contenders compared to Man united, Man City and Chelsea (I can be proved wrong in this statement of course)

If the scenario happens that he goes to Arsenal and they do not qualify next year, I will be very spiteful.. not towards arsenal as a club but to Suarez and I can't say I won't be rather amused as well.

Just my thoughts

Yeah I understand you, every season looks like it's difficult but we still get into top 4 tho, and like I said it could be that suarez would only stay 2 seasons or so with us to then do the same move to Real. He's just looking for that CL experience, and Arsenal is able to provide it right now.

Liverpool fans and ex players are so deluded.. Liverpool are a top 8 team with Suarez and a midtable team without him lol

anyone who says Arsenal (17 years of champions league football) are a sideways step for Suarez really don't know much about football... Liverpool and fans are blinded by nostalgia.

here is an example of what im talking about.

1. A team that has a stable world class manager that qualifies for Europe every year always gets out of the group stages of Champions league, the 3rd richest club in the world (according to Forbes) a team with a lot of youngsters that all play at international level. A team that follows the financial fair play rules that are coming into play. A team that has a much larger stadium and remained in the champs league throughout that unstable period. Liverpool havent even built there new stadium yet... things are gonna get harder and harder for them. anyone with a brain can see Arsenal are the bigger club now. All Liverpool fans go on about is the past...

2. Man UTD Chelsea and Man city have ALL changed managers, David Moyes hasn't even played in the champ league, pellegrini has never managed in the prem and Mourinho won nothing at Real Madrid last year (a better team than Chelsea).. This is the first year we havent lost any players. If we have Suarez in the team I can guarantee we will be fighting on all fronts for a trophy.

How much truth does this £47.5mil bid for Suarez hold?

If its true I'm sure LFC will take it

Yea they might take something like that, as at least with arsenal will get it upfront. I hate the guy that much now, im prepared to take the risk and try reinvest (hopefully for some decent signings)

Clearly Wenger has changed his policy about spending and now he also wants to secure his much needed attacking force(according to himself) and eventhough he is stubborn, I do think he realise that Sanogo is not enough for next season and that it'll be an good idea to secure his "target" as soon as possible. I'm sure, if this goes through quickly, it gives a greater chance to secure other potential targets, as he can use his focus and energy on them.
