Why? Laporta would spend the club's money on hoes and parties, and probably use Barça to relaunch his faled politcal carreer... Bartomeu got rid of Zubi and put out a fire in the club which allowed Barça to win the treble. He announced elections when Barça was at their worst point and he had absolutely no chance of winning them; just for that he deserves a massive respect imo.

Even though he was on Rosell's team it's unfair to blame him for all the mistakes the board made during these last years, once he became president Bartomeu has done a good job in silence.

Laporta's campaign was all about politics and signing a player Luis Enrique hadn't asked for...
