Yeah we can deal with a defeat, the atmosphere was still great ;)
Weird thing is tho, the 4 times we have met Standard, we never got a single point from them (losing 4-0 twice!)
Normally we are the giant killers, but not when it comes to Standard :P

also nice to see Mallorca back on track! (ogunjimi is playing well aswell for beerschot(that is doomed for relegation now tho))

don't they have the playoff though?

Yeah but not alot of relegating clubs end up going trough playoffs 3.

The numbers 15 (beerschot) wil get a 3 point bonus against number 16 (cercle) and they have a game more at home.
In total 5 games are played between Beerschot and Cercle, the loser of the most matches will go to division 2, while the winner will have to go to the play offs of the second division top 4 (number 1 in second division= auto promotion).
Only the winner in this play off will go (or stay) to division one, and the champions of second division will go trough aswell.

So mostly the high amount of games kills the relegating teams

seriously can a playoff system be worse or more complicated than the belgian one? some teams that get into the title playoff have less of a chance of qualifying for EL than teams that finish way behind them

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the play off system either, however it makes up for some amazing games and excitement.

But yeah as you mention a side from play of 2 can get into europe 'easier' than a top 6 side, if they win in their group and win against the other group winner, they can play vs the team that ended 4th in play off 1 and that winner will go to EL qualifiers :P

OHL will be playing against Kortrijk for the last match before the play offs, pretty usseles matchday for the pro league since everything is already decided :P Hoping for a good display from the boys tho since the last game was a 4-0 loss at home.

Sadly this game isn't at home :(

Oh boy this is stupid as hell. There should be a rule that is HAS to be the same in every competition.
