Puyol has always been slow as fuck
He was awful towards the end of his career while Terry is just a beast and still 34
The only reason Terry doesnt get the recognition he deserves is because he makes the stories with being a bit of a thug in his personal life


Dont get me wrong Puyol is one of the great defenders but I dont think there is alot between him and Terry

Lol you guys are rating puyol way way too high based on his gentlemen skills.

i think both puyol and terry were / are terrific defenders. i'd personally prefer puyol for character reasons but i wouldn't say he's so much better skillwise...

He was such a big game player though... you have to be really special to consistently outstand in the highest level games.

And youre saying John Terry doesnt ?
