I haven't reported much from Mallorca lately because nothing too big has been going on... we've continued to play horribly and we are still in the low end of the table, far from promotion.
2 weeks before the winter break our manager was finally sacked, and was replaced Pepe Gálvez (a homegrown former player of our club that was once one of Spain's most promising talents until injuries ruined him). Gálvez is inexperienced as this is his first manager job, but he has the fans support because of his past as a player. The team has improved in playstyle with him, but results haven't been that great (1 win, 2 draws, 1 defeat).
This week something big has occurred. Robert Sarver (american billionaire and owner of NBA franchise Phoenix Suns) has bought the 75% of the club (the remaining 25% still belongs to Classen, who will remain as our president for now) and has injected 20M€ into the club. That's a lot of money for us, but it's unknown how much of that will be used on transfers. He is bringing in people that have worked with him in other enterprises, and people he trusts personally... so we will probably change manager again soon. Steve Nash is now part of the club's board

Let's hope this finally works out. This year will be our 100th anniversary, so there's a lot of pressure to not fuck up atm.
