I think we played better over all, but you guys put up quite a fight in the first half and made it a pretty nice final. It's always entertaining meeting you guys in the CL, be it the final, semis or whatever.

Luca, I can only imagine how much this hurt. But you guys pulled of another fantastic season and have built a quite a monster with the new signings you made last summer... you're definitely getting another chance soon. Keep up the good work and fight to give Gigi the title he deserves!

Congrats main man zark, a completely deserved win for your boys. We got it wrong today, I thought we started well enough and responded to the early goal in the best way possible.

In the second half we completely lost the plot. Offensively this never surprises me but defensively, I would've never guessed. Dybala being subbed off for Lemina at 3-1 kind of shows you where this game went. A lot of the players should feel immense shame. Dybala was extremely awful, he looked like a second division player. Buffon should've done better on the Casemiro goal in my opinion. Pjanic played a great first 45 and a horrible second half until he was subbed.

Playing a double pivot of Khedira and Pjanic against Real Madrid always, in my head at least, seemed like a terrible idea.

I'm not overreacting here but this is the end of this cycle. Allegri will have lost the group with this shocking performance and loss. What sucked most was the lack of belief. I would go balls deep for Verratti or another top midfielder this summer and then add a talent like Bernardeschi/Berardi.

Overall the performance dropped in the second half, I liked Pjanic yesterday but I was shocked to see Marchisio start on the bench. (Has he been dropped alot this season?)

Thanks bruv. It seems like Madrid finished the season in much better physical form than Juve. I don't follow your boys enough to know how much you've rotated, but I can tell you that Madrid has rotated a lot this season. It's probably the thing Zidane has done best this season, everyone rotated and so the team has reached the last stretch of the season in top form... even Cristiano was benched more than ever. I think that has been the key to such a successful season on our side.

I wouldn't be so pessimistic about the future. You guys have an immense team. It was the first CL final experience for some players like Dybala and I'm sure they'll do better next time. The signings you made a year ago weren't for a 12 month project, but to make Juve step up to the level of the best 3-4 teams in Europe again for years to come. When Bayern lost the CL final at home it seemed like the end of the world (especially with them being runnerup in all 3 competitions) but the following year they came back to win the treble. You never know what the future has in store for you, but imo Juve has a team that deserves optimism.

Allegri rotated quite freely from a 3-5-2 to a 4-2-3-1 to a 3-4-1-2 (yesterday's preferred starting 11). Our peak was the Barcelona tie for sure. We have no depth up top when we play all 3 of Mandzukic, Higuain and Dybala. The only quality player to take some minutes off of them was Pjaca, a promising 21 year old who tore his ACL around Feb-March. After that, our next attacker was Moise Kean (he's 17 years old).

In the end, we suffered in the midfield in my opinion. Pjanic and Khedira are great but against a midfield 3 like Modric, Kroos and Casemiro and with Isco on the field too, it was always going to be tough.

We have great players, and a great manager but I'm curious to see how we respond. The spirit was very shocking last night.

Keep your head up. It's gonna be better. Will Buffon play one more season?
