I must admit I'm worried about Modric and Rakitic, as our current formation is just Henderson in central midfield with Dele and Lingard playing further up, who are attacking midfielders.

as long as you can stop mandzukic and give henderson enough support you will be fine
i would drop one out of lingard or alli for a more defensive player to win the midfield battle

England is powerful, but Croatia usually play much better when facing a good opponent.
There were numerous interviews where they said it is hard to play long games and that they are exhausted, but they will be fine for game and do their best.

Only one player might not play for us, which is Vrsaljko.
