Well, while Karanka was Mourinho's assistant manager at Real Madrid, Morinho spoke lowly of Pellegrini on several occasions. I'm not sure if Karanka also spoke negatively of him, but it wouldn't surprise me if they haven't been in good terms since then.

Agreed. It's a shame because he's a nice guy and he always tries to make his teams play attractive football, but it looks like he doesn't have what it takes to manage teams with the highest potential. He seems to be made for managing clubs like Everton, Newcastle, etc.

Simone, he has attitude and can discipline those poor lads.

Trouble is he is unlikely to join, atm At Madrid >>>> city by a whole mile.
