Azerbaijanis are Turkic people, not Arab. League wise, they are ranked around the same level as Poland. Romania, Scottland, Sweden, etc... you should remember Qarabag, from the last CL, as it was in the same group as Chelsea.

But it's not just watched in Europe, they still have to work continually on expanding and growing the sport and each competition. Don't be surprised if we see one in America at some point.

The NFL is the National league of America, yet it's played in Europe for some games.

I can understand to an extent some of these decisions, it's very hard to get it right though with differing political climates, but that can happen between countries within the same continent too.

The seating allocation and fan travel issues is ridiculous, not doubt about it. UEFA got it completely wrong this time.
