Bussparkia Monchengladbach.
sry mate, but you're wrong here.
gladbach did not park the bus at all (despite playing away and despite playing last year's cl finalist with players that have an average market value of about a third of juve's squad). if you actually compared their performance and their defending to that of chelsea or arsenal yesterday you would see a big difference.
gladbach's midfield was positioned much higher and they did not rely on just putting numbers in the back - they tried to keep possession with short passes and include their wingers and fullbacks. also, they had always 2 or 3 men committed to immediate pressing after they lost the ball (which happened way too often ofc) - and that was clearly a tactical measure.
it's true that they did not create much offensively and statistically they did not even have a shot on target (although raffael's shot was very close and one of the better chances in this game) - but then again, juve's "chances" were also mostly longshots and overall they also just managed two(!) shots on target - at least one of them after from a freekick after one of the many ridiculous dives they made...
now i'm not disputing that juve was the better team, they certainly were - and they looked more dangerous, too. had they scored, gladbach could not have complained - but it's not like they dominated the game so badly that you'd call it extremely unlucky they did not - after all, gladbach had 45% of the possession (compared to arsenal's 25% yesterday for example) and made 103 passes in the attacking third compared to juve's 143...
