I have coached several youth and senior teams and acquired a diploma called "B-Lizenz" (now "Elite Jugendlizenz") through taking various courses and tests that are basically ALL more difficult and take way more actual football intelligence and thought put into them than becoming an officially licensed FA football coach.
Currently working on taking the next step and getting an "A-Lizenz", but still way to go as it takes over 100 hours of lectures to visit first.
not bad and gl

my current coach just finished his a license, its almost like a degree course in university ^^ and he had to skip many of our training sessions to make enough time

Don't know the guy who wrote the article, but except for "we have 5 forwards and should play more of them", there is not a single decent argument for switching the formation throughout the whole piece of text.
4-3-3, 3-5-2, 4-1-4-1, 4-4-2 or whatever you want... it's all just numbers, used to dumb down much more important things (individual positioning, timing, runs, whatever a coach prefers) for the average viewer / supporter.
Seems like he tested that out in FIFA 17 or something like that and thought it works for him tbh.
