seriously? that was too weak for a penalty imo, let alone a "clear" one. a slight little pull of the arm and alonso goes down like a barcelona player...
if the ref awards this one, ok - i'd say it's a very weak one but stupid of piqué to even pull his arm, but watching the replay i'd say it was the correct decision, as much as barcelona probably deserved a little karma there...

From my perspective, there was a push off the elbow that when you are pushing full speed, can knock you to the ground. The key here is unecessary contact and anything to the back is unecessary. Clear pk imo.

i think it's likely it distracted alonso and even interfered a little with his movement. that being said though, nothing unusual in the box, let alone enough to make him go to the ground. a VERY weak penalty at best, and without any bias against a team (which is the ideal case for a ref, while i personally would have loved to see a penalty to make the match more exciting) it was the correct decision imo...
