Verratti is probably Barça bound.

My thoughts on him is that he's good but not amazing. The typical player everybody talks about but when you see him play for 20 games you get the feeling he's not that special.

Maybe I'm wrong and I've just been unlucky with the games I've seen, but I've seen like 20% great Verratti games and 80% of games where he isn't terrible but just adds nothing to the team.

Have they already given up on Rakitic, Gomes, Suarez and Rafinha then?

He is able to change big games tho, and he is injured 98% of the time.

That will depend on Valverde, I guess.

Rafinha will probably stay. I think he's pretty good and can be a decent bench player.
Rakitic stopped being important for Luis Enrique, but might regain a more important role under Valverde. We'll see. Personally I rate him.
André Gomes is young and might be given a second chance just for that (if Valverde has faith in him), but the fans/press have already labeled him as crap and are hoping that the club will sell him. A year ago I laughed at this transfer and my thoughts on the player haven't changed since... they should get rid of him ^^
Denis SUárez has bee pretty bad and doesn't seem to be good enough for Barça. It has been pretty disappointing, because it seemed like he could be a future talent for Spain, but now it looks like he doesn't have the required potential.

Right now most rumours say that Barça's two main objectives are Verratti and Bellerín. Don't think either of them will make them step up significantly, so I don't mind them spending a shitload of money on them :P

That's true and maybe it's the injuries that make him inconsistent. But you can't control when he's injured or not... personally I'm not a fan of spending big money on an injury prone player. Barça mostly needs a new bench.

Wouldn't mind a cheeky bid for Rakitic, was thinking about tht a few days ago seeing as Cazorla is still out.
