Obviously an exception, dont look for what you want to see, if it happens again in the next 10 years, I'll accept that I'm wrong.

imo Atlético will win La Liga this season

with Barça being physically torn and Madrid having only one striker, I think Atlético's squad is the best prepared to face the season

I know, but their form in september is irrelevant; it's not uncommon for champions to have a sloppy start. Not to mention that their signings have been improving a lot over this last month, now that they've had time to adjust.

Anyway, La Liga isn't a ko competition. They can get raped by Madrid and Barça and still win the title. Due to their depth I don't think they'll be dropping many points along the way.

The attacking options imo are not good enough.

Torres is gone, Martinez is nowhere near the Porto form and Correa is far from ready.

Griezman is imo not a striker. And very unlikely to pull off the same stats as past year.

Yeah, it wasn't too good... both teams seemed to settle with the draw for the most part of the game.

It's a very risky prediction. It's likely to fail, and I hope it does, but I have a feeling...

Jackson and Correa have been improving recently, give them a bit more time. You're also forgetting Vietto, who will be receiving more and more playtime as the season progresses. About Griezmann, I wouldn't be surprised if he actually improved last season's stats.

well, at least they got a point in turin
too bad they were in such bad form against sevilla and had that unlucky loss vs city
but tbh nobody expects them to do anything in this group so it would be good for them to at least have a fight for 3rd place
