Dortmund had a choice to sell Lewandowski before his contract expired, they didnt, that's on them.

Gotze had a release clause, they should've renegotiated his contract while they still had the chance or sell him to someone else, again, Dortmund's fault.

Why buy players that aren't familiar with the language, or the league when you easily can get some for cheap that can slot right into the team?
