in the last 4 years the italian football wasnt that good. It was on a high 19x-2010

but i think, it wasnt "utter shit" like you mentioned it. The leauge had many problems and still has. And from 2011-2014 their performance wasnt allways good. I agree with that. But people underrated the serie a to much imo, for example in 2012, where napoli gone out very unlucky with 12 points (lucky goal from Kevin-Kebap-GK in marseille in the last minuts). Very close.

Also Juventus had to face the Übermacht from Bayern 2012 in the qaurterfinales. At least they didnt lost 4:0 at home like barca did.

2013 Juve was the only team whitch had a good game vs. real (2-2) and an unlucky defeat (0-1) in the groupstage. It was close.

Its much about dayform. I dont overrate the victory of Napoli vs WOB. As well i dont overrate the 7:1 from Bayern vs Roma.

I think the english football will come back strongly in the next years, the german and the italian will both stay stable or even increase. the spain football will have their "crisis" in 2-3 years imo.

Football is like world economy. Cant allways go upstairs

Sorry for bad english

I agree.
I would prefer if bundesliga or spanish league loses a spot in the next years. I doubt English will

Who would want to see Leverkusen instead of city or liverpool in CL? Not many.

To be honest i would hate seeing leverkusen just as much as i would seeing city or liverpool.

Yeah... they have some big names, but the team plays horrid football. I hope some of their quality players move to teams where they can shine.

Zenit were tacticaly flawless in the first half today, won't take that away from them, but their offensive potential was wasted. In the second half they were absolute crap both offensively and defensively.

They had 4 or so from 1st lineup missing, yes, you guessed that right, the whole front line.

Aren't Shatov and Rondón regular starers? They both played.

A team with Witsel, Rondón, Shatov, Ryazantsev, etc had much more potential than what they showed. They were really lucky to lose only by one goal.

Witsel needs to leave Zenit ASAP.

If Bayern doesn't proceed (although I'm sure they will), it's going to be a very tight race among the 3 leagues for the 2nd and 3rd position next season.

Serie A will almost definetely start ahead of EPL next season if they get the same kind of results next week (which is likely considering that Napoli will play home against a team with no motivation, Fiore will need to win home against a weaker side, and Juve also plays a weaker side).

If they keep the 3 teams in the semi finals of CL/EL they will surely get the remaining points they need to start the race in 3rd position.

I doubt they'd be able to hold on to it though, I don't think we will have a season like this one again, with EPL crashing so badly while Serie A over performs.

Yeah, but it's not just a matter of last night's game.

In the CL they were horrible. They only had that one solid perofrmance in Lisbon; that's it.
