Full Time: Liverpool 1 - 0 Queen's Park Rangers

Should have battered them. We miss wayyyy too many chances for my liking.

However, 3 points is 3 points.

Some of our squad still needs an upgrade. I love Kuyt, but quite honestly, if we want to win anything anytime soon, we need a better player. Hazard would be a great signing.

so many high clubs will try and get hazard, including arsenal. Hoping he goes to either arsenal or liverpool tho..
And kuyt is needed at some points of the games liverpool plays, but I guess he's getting a bit sloppy.

Very true.

He's definitely an Arsenal type player. Very crafty. Wouldn't mind seeing him in the Premier League. Just hope it'll be with Liverpool!

Kuyt is a good player. But I'd rather his role at the club be more as a sub.

Kuyt could play as an impact player late in the game very well, and for hazard he HAS to go to premier league imo, plus he needs to be in a club where he can develope well.

Definitely. That's the kind of role I can see him taking on. We need a player of better quality as a starter in that position.

Hazard will definitely come to the Prem. Likely with Arsenal, but Liverpool would do really well to get him.

Terrible loss for Pool today.

There's still some work that needs to be done to the squad.

As big of a heart as Dirk Kuyt and Jay Spearing have, they are not near good enough for the team if we're trying to compete at the highest level and contend for the Prem title.

With Suarez banned for far too many games than he deserves, we need another striker to come in. Someone that is a natural scorer and is a bit more direct in front of the goal to compliment Carroll's aerial threat, then rotating between Suarez, Carroll and the new striker will keep things fresh when Suarez's ban is over.

Centre Midfield, we're covered with Gerrard, Adam, Lucas, and Henderson.

Wings, Maxi and Bellamy are the two best options. Kuyt and Downing as substitutes at best. We need more quality in this area. Someone like Hazard would be a great addition in my opinion. And if somehow we can pinch Adam Johnson away from City, I'd have him in a heart beat.

Centre Backs, Agger, Skrtel, Carragher, and Coates are more than sufficient. Kelly can play there as well should the need arise.

Wing Backs, Johnson has done a good job down the right, and has Kelly for backup with the youngsters waiting in the wings. And left back, Liverpool has final found someone worthy of the position in Enrique. Easily our best summer signing and probably one of the top left backs in the EPL. Again, cover from youngsters, and Johnson if need be can shift to that flank.

Goalkeepers, Reina. Enough said. Doni for decent cover.

Hopefully this transfer window we can fill some of the weaknesses. (Striker, Wingers)

Found our old Pool thread.

Complete disappointment today against Wigan at home.

Since our league season is over, I don't even care if we lose the rest of our games and finish 10-15th, I'd rather we start playing some of our younger ones.
