dortmund is a proper challenger and will remain so in the future
in fact they are also widening the gap between them and the rest of the league ^^

In your opinion I suppose. They made good signings but sold three of their best players at the same time... Hummels straight to Bayern.

I just think you're underrating the importance of Hummels, Mkhitaryan and Gundogan

Hummels and Mkhitaryan are big losses but Gundogan ? Sure when fit he's incredible but he's always injuried..
Hummels is the biggest loss imo, Mkhitaryan has been replaced by Götze, Mor and Dembele

you really don't get it, do you? you act like replacing three key players by signing promising talents just happens automatically. for dortmund to be a "proper" challenger, all the young players they signed will have to perform to their potential and they will have to form a good team that can handle the setbacks, that will inevitably happen. there's a lot of "ifs" in that - and they would still only be a challenger, hoping to even have the smallest chance of competing for the title.

on the other hand, bayern can keep all their key players and gradually add proven quality (plus gifted players they can just sell again if they happen to fail) each year by buying the rest of the league's best players basically whenever they want. even in the WORST possible scenario for them, they will still at the very least have a 50% chance to win the title...

great job ignoring the rest of my post and replying to half a sentence out of context in order to make a retarded "counter-argument".

i quite clearly argued a certain point here (dortmund having to replace key players while bayern just adds quality, as in dortmund key players, to an already great team - so for them to be a "proper challenger" many things have to go right) - and not even you can tell me you missed it due to intellectual shortcomings.

if you're interested in an honest and fair debate, rather than making fallacious and dishonest "excuses" for your weak statement, come back at me. if an appeal to ridicule is all you can muster up, however, don't even bother...

Imagine Bayern losing boateng, lahm, noyer this season and costa, thiago and lewa the next one.

Straight mid table team.

Thank you fender. This was my point.
Hummels is a top CB in the world, top 5, maybe even 3 with Boateng and Bonucci.
Mkhitaryan was probably the best player in Germany last year from what I've read and the brief I've seen.
Gundogan is an excellent central midfielder. He is injury prone but still amazing.

I just don't get how it's comparable to replace these players with Gotze, someone who has done nothing since the World Cup final. With Rode who sat on Bayern's bench with Gotze. Bartra who sat on Barca's bench. I love the Gurreiro signing though and Schurrle could be nice, as well as Auba so the team is strong but I don't think it's stronger. No way
