RM has spent 100k€ buying some of Real Oviedo's shares (and transfering them to the city of Oviedo)

For those that don't know, Real Oviedo is histrorically an important club in Spain, has a strong fan base in the Asturias region and played in Primera regularly. Mata and Cazorla are both Oviedo supporters and they both came out of their youth system. The team is at their lowest point ever, currently in the spanish 3rd level and they need to sell 2M€ worth of shares to avoid dissapearing. People from over 60 different countries have been buying shares over the last few weeks.

If any of you guys want to help them out, you can do so here: http://www.realoviedo.es/yosoyelrealoviedo/ingles/index.html

for like 10 euros you can own a small part of Mata and Cazorla's club and stop it from dissapearing

I wonder

apparently people from over 60 different countries have been buying shares, including players that have nothing to do with spanish football like mexican keeper Ochoa, so it really looks like the club has a big chance of being saved

also, yesterday over 20k people went to the stadium, which is insane for the third level here, some of the stadia in Primera and all of the ones in Segunda (and lower) have had less attendance this weekend
