Benatia to Juventus completed today!

The defense is set now:

Alex Sandro-Chiellini-Bonucci-Barzagli-Dani Alves
Evra-Rugani-Benatia-Lichtsteiner

:)

Rumours for the attack:
Pjaca still looming, should have a definitive answer by the weekend (which is probably delaying other deals)
Gabriel Barbosa "Gabigol" of Santos is linked with Juventus, looks like a promising forward
Juventus, according to Wanda (LOL), met with Inter to discuss Icardi and offered 50M (she seems to be fishing for a new contract for Mauro)
Cuadrado links have cooled (I think he is a backup to Pjaca possibly)

Zaza heavily linked with Wolfsburg with a 25M offer tabled

So what about higuain?

According to reports we have agreed personal terms with Higuain at 7M per year, which would make him our best paid player by quite some distance too.

Juventus has also offered a Pereyra plus cash deal to be in the range of 60M, Higuain's release clause is 94M and at that point Napoli would not have a choice in the matter of his transfer. I believe it will take the release clause to sign him because De Laurentiis is insane. Apparently Higuain has also refused to show up to pre season, basically forcing a move (which is a bit shameful).

Hypothetically

In:
Higuain 94M
Pjanic 38M
Benatia 20M
Dani Alves free

Out:
Morata 30M
Zaza 25M
Pereyra 18M

Basically, it is possible to sign Higuain at his enormous release clause even while keeping Pogba but it makes more sense that Pogba is sold if Higuain is to be signed at 94M (which I don't think Juventus will pay).

I'm sure tomorrow we'll hear more. It's strange to see Juventus linked with Icardi and Higuain in the same week.

I have to say, I'm super impressed with the club's market so far. We are definitely seeing a super team being assembled with the champions league being the goal.

Yep but that's exactly the problem. Shit for the league. Last season other teams reinforced properly and Juventus still ended up winning. This season most serie a teams haven't made as many good additions, so u can imagine how easy it will be for Juventus to run away with the league.

New players need to adjust, so it wont be that easy. There will be a bit of a drawback. Maybe I'm wrong and Juve even will do great in Europe again :)

I dont think he comes to Juve.

And i would be a stupid move. 94m (!) for a 29 year old, and the wages would be 7,5 netto. On the financial aspect, this would be a really dumb move from beppe.

+he chokes in the and important games

"It’s almost done! Juventus have reached an agreement with the Croatian club for the 21-year-old forward Marko Pjaca.

It’s been a long transfer saga as it was a battle between Juventus and Milan to sign the Croatian star. The 21-year-old decided to accept Juventus offer, despite AC Milan offered half a million more for him.

Today its reported that Juventus have found an agreement with Dinamo Zagreb for Marko Pjaca. The deal is set at €20 million + €2 million of bonuses and Piricari have travelled to Zagreb to conclude the deal.

Marko Pjaca joined Dinamo Zagreb in summer 2014 from Lokomotiva Zagreb for €1 million euros. The 21-year-old winger has made 90 appearances for Dinamo Zagreb, finding the net in 26 occasions.

Its believed that Marko Pjaca will undergo his medical at Turin during the next hours."

As a lifelong Pjaca fan, I am thrilled with this transfer.

Well Napoli would be able to do a lot with 94M, lets not forget that. Milan and Inter are under new ownership so, they will be improved in the upcoming seasons. Roma also has a very talented squad and manager in Spaletti.

This year will surely belong to Juventus and probably the year after that as well but as of 2018 Juventus will be undergoing a rebuild with several key pieces of this team due to leave then, including Buffon, Barzagli and Allegri.

The thing is with Higuain, he is going to leave. He has basically done that himself with his comments and apparent refusal to show up for training.

For the reasons you all have mentioned, I agree. I am not a fan of buying a rival club's best player- but imagine the team if he did join Juventus, even though due to his cost and wages it is something completely uncharacteristic of Juventus.

I also believe any offer tabled short of the release clause will not be entertained by Napoli as their owner- De Laurentiis, is crazy and hates Juventus particularly. I'm sure he's not handling this well as it is.
