Can't argue with this team choice.

No Carrick or Shaw is a mistake, no doubt about that, but I suppose we have to work with what we have.

Who and who?

A cripple and a mid table bench warmer?

Best decision Hodgedonkey made this year.

Why do you even comment his obviously biased choice. Rooney as striker lol also Stones over Cahill when he had such a mediocre season, not that Cahill is a favorite for the Ballon D'or but at least he`s way more experienced and have more caps with the national team. Also Wilshere and Sterling...one of them have played about 15 minutes this season, the other one haven't improved since his transfer and haven't contributed at all. And BPL goalscorer and 2nd goalscorer not in the team too, but Rooney with his amazing 7 goals is there.

I also don't understand why Antonio from West Ham haven't been called, he have had amazing season with the hammers.

Same with Noble. Had a great season and still can't get in ahead of disasters like Delph.

Hodgedonkey just has his favourites. If he picked on form (like he said he would) half of these wouldn't be in the squad.

My team would go something like:

Well...

Hart, Clyne/Rose, Smalling, Cahill, Bertrand, Dier/Henderson, Alli, Drinkwater, Sturridge, Kane, Vardy

That's the best starting line up out of this squad selection. Attacking wise he will have a lot of players that have played in same club team which is great for the chemistry not only on fifa or such kind of games. In my opinion with the role Shrek has been given in utd he's useless right now, he haven't reached a good level at the playmaker role and also can't be put as striker as he haven't played in this position in ages, could be a decisive sub anyway.

Id bench that Stoorage guy and play a classic 4-4-2.

England will play the ugliest football in the competition regardless of team selection and formation.
