Disappointing loss for Liverpool.

Charlie Adam really needs to learn how to tackle, or leave the tackling to Lucas and just shadow the player rather than getting stuck in.

Sad to say, but Carragher is becoming more and more a liability than anything else. Gotta love the man's spirit, but he just cannot keep pace with today's game. With Skrtel on a ban, and Agger injured, Coates will get some games with Carragher and hopefully Carra's influence and leadership can help bed him in.

I still believe Carroll and Henderson will come good. They'll justify their fees in due time. They are both still young, and are getting settled in a new team.

Gerrard should be back next week. I think it's about time we have our talismanic captain back on the pitch.

While we definitely aren't the finished article yet, the steps taken from last season have been dramatic. If things hadn't changed, we'd probably be sitting deep in the relegation zone.

There's always a positive.. Time to move on to the next game.

Long time no post.

Latest news, Lucas Leiva has been ruled out for the rest of the season.

Huge blow for us as he's been immense this season.

Best wishes Lucas in your recovery.

This is shitty, just when he started being one of the most important players on our team, then he got such a long injury
Luckily we got a pretty decent midfield now and Kenny just called Shelvey back from blackpool where he scored 6 goals in 9 matches if im not mistaken, this might be his chance.

Losing lucas for liverpool is almost as bad as losing suarez and imo because of this liverpool have just blew their top4 chances. Such a big loss

I wouldn't go so far as saying we're not getting in the top 4. While Lucas has been instrumental, I'm sure we have enough depth in our squad to take over.

While not a direct replacement for Lucas, we do have quality players who can play in a defensive mid role.

Spearing has always played with great heart and is quite reliable.
When Gerrard is fit again, he may even be used in that sort of role.

And maybe this will be a time for Kenny to try something new and perhaps not play a defensive midfielder and introduce a new style of attack.

In this case, we've got Henderson, and Shelvey who is been recalled from loan and was doing well in Blackpool.

Yeah, forgot spearing who did good last year and and in the match vs Chelsea tuesday he did fantastic too

Spearing, Adam, Gerrard, Henderson, Shelvey should be enough but no doubt we will miss Lucas though

The new owners are living up to expectation.

But the previous owners destroyed our club and there's a lot of internal work that's being done to fix it all.

We'll be back on top in no time.
