Rumours of Benatia from Bayern Munich to Juventus for 18M (loan + obligation to purchase)

Not sure if I'm a fan of this transfer for the following reasons:
1) It diminishes Rugani's role in the team
2) It ensures the 3-5-2 will be the staple formation next season. With the Pjanic signing and Caceres being released, it leaves 4 CBs on the team (excluding Benatia), which made a 4 man back line feasible in some cases.

I like the move because it's a solid signing and really signifies the intent of the team to create the most competitive team that they can. When you're playing 50 games a season and Chiellini and Barzagli are aging, it's tough to imagine them playing a full season each. Rotation is obviously important and while I'm not a fan of Benatia in the slightest, it seems a good signing in that respect.

So far (assuming this deal goes through):
IN:
Pjanic
Dani Alves
Benatia

OUT:
Morata
Caceres
Padoin

Not bad b)

Needs: a striker
Berardi's future still unclear

benatia is proper good, especially for your style
just need to keep him fit somehow

good luck mehdi :)

Rumour that Rugani wants to leave if Benatia is signed, I'll be very sad if that happens

-Pogba is still the story of the summer. I'm very torn, I want him to stay for one more season at least but I also want this madness to end
-Pjaca still linked, apparently rejected a move to Napoli (Napoli bid 25M)

Ultimate big game player, can play anywhere along the forward line but is not yet a top #9. He's weak back to goal but great when he can move into space and run at defenders.
I really thought this season would be his but he lost his starting place fairly early to a partnership of Mandzukic-Dybala. With that being said he still made a lot of impact in his appearances.

I'd say this season showed how great of an all around player he is but he needs to get to that next level in order to score 20+ a season, which he has not done but has the talent to, in my opinion.

Cheers for the input, I take it you rate him above Giroud?

Not as a back to goal type of striker, in everything else, yes.
Morata has much greater potential and has improved each season as a professional.
Giroud is a more finished product, he's not a poor player but will never be a top forward.

Kind of tough to compare, I'd rather have Morata as my striker though.

Juventus want to sign both Cuadrado and Pjaca. Apparently we are confident of signing both.
