It's like he had gone through the squad and the fixtures and thought - right, they have handful of world class players and won a couple of games, I fancy them to beat anyone.
While in reality, they rode their luck in the group stages in pretty much every game having player well for maybe 20 minutes out of 270 and nearly bottled it against the worst Argentinian team in history, while Uruguay are half the team they are without Cavani.
