It's pretty interesting the amount of "migrants" in European squads. Not exactly something new, but still continues to be on the rise.
And then you look at teams like Brasil, Argentina, Mexico, Uruguay, Japan etc... The entire squad is basically born and raised in the home country, with the top players often going to Euro teams in their late teen years.
When you have squads like France with 78%+ players who are not born and raised in France, but were instead scouted by teams in their teen years and brought to the country and eventually given Naturalization...
It makes sense in a globalized world, but it almost feels artificial at the same time.
