Good old "buy low, sell high" principle.
Two things first off
1) The market is pretty f'ed up at the moment. Two massive TOTW in the past 14 days. I'm not sure if the market will recover, especially considering the expected drop in December.
2) You will not make a lot of coins by investing just a few minutes.
As stupid as it may sound - it takes time and consistency to make coins.
Biggest problem was the consumable-bug. Lots of people made hundreds of thousands of coins over a short amount of time, you can build up an excellent team with few coins (and I'm not talking about the "acceptable" kind of team - you can get a really decent one for little money).
David Luiz is down to what? 15k? el oh el.
It's hard to get players for a bargain. There are so many people who are online at any given time. If a card is on the market for an abnormally low price, it will be gone within a few seconds most of the time.
Prices tend to raise in the evening, when most people are online and are usually down in the morning/at night time (That's what I've been experiencing, I live in Germany).
When I get up for work I sometimes check the webapp before I leave or while sitting in the train. I don't get up extra-early, that would be too nerdy, but if I'm ready to go and got some time left, I try to buy some cards.
The most common trading methods are proably
1) Buying players via auction for less than the current cheapest fast-trade price and then put them up at that price or even a bit lower
2) Buying players@their basic position + buy a single position change, apply it to the card and sell it for more than the cards combined did cost.
e. g. xxxTypicalGermanxxx is worth 10k@ST (basic position) and 12k@cf (position change). The ST->CF card costs 500 coins.
Buy the player@ST for 10k + CF card for 500, apply it to the card, sell the guy@CF for 12k *BOOM* You've made a little less than 1k profit.
It's nearly exactly the same with chemistry styles, you gotta be a bit more careful tho, sometimes you will make loss by trying to convert the procedure because the chemistry style is often worth more than the player itself
Another random advice:
Don't buy too many cards of the same player. You will end up flooding the market yourself. 2-3 max of each of your trading-targets.
Don't buy 20 Ozils and try to sell them at the same time, you won't manage to do so before christmas. At least not for a reasonable price.
Try to find a couple of players to trade with and take your time. You will increase your bank-roll step-by-step. But be careful at any given time.
It might take a week to go from 0-50k but it will only take 5 seconds to lose those 50k again if you fuck things up.
I made some profit with the following "methods":
1) I bought a shitload of Fellainis, really. Not 20 at the same time but quite a few several times per day. But them at basic chemistry for like 6-6.3k and sold them@Powerhouse or w/e for up to 9k.
2) Lots of Vollands bought@ST and converted to CF (small profit, but you will get somewhere sometime). Find players like that.
3) Biggest profit might be done by trading informs. Either try to buy IFs who are worth slightly more than the discard-price (like 15-16k). Try to buy them for a little less and enjoy the gains brah.
Or just try to get lucky with more expensive IFs. You will need a higher bankroll, tho. Managed to buy a Lahm at ~160k and sold him@190k each time.
And yeah, you will have to follow the market, indeed. Try to find out who might get an inform next week etc.
Like I said, it does take time and I'm not quite sure if it's worth the effort
There's always two other options - get a sponsor or empty your wallet.
