I know you're trying to be clever and failing miserably, so i will keep my explanation as straightforward as possible.

You concede Irvine is correct in theory but not in practice.
Coins are being removed from the market at a much faster rate (with people purchasing them to buy packs in hope of profit) than they are returned through games etc. Hence, the number of coins available on the market is reducing.

Simple supply and demand, bruh.

No, they aren't. The game starts with very few coins and it increases from there.

The rise in price exhibited here is likely due to in-game events raising his perception of the short term demand for coins. He raised it for FUT United and he raised it again for upgrades

We can clearly see on various sites that the general trend of coin prices is downwards. More and more coins/players are being put into circulation. People are acquiring the teams they want, and others are becoming disinterested in an aging game.
We can see in past weeks that the price crashed downwards.

Order Product:
GameService_1xFifa 15 Ultimate Team-Xbox One_1053K Coins
Order Price: GBP£ 9.26
06/02/2015

1000K Coins cover 5% tax=1053K
GBP£ 13.81
17/02/2015

Could you please provide information from these "various sites" as the ones I use all have an increase. In this case it's a £4.55 increase for the 1million xbox coins in under 2 weeks.

"The game starts with very few coins and it increases from there."

Yes it does. But the amount of players also increases, and with the TOTS and TOTT players a lot (more than generated) has been spent on packs. You can't count people as "having coins" because they have players on the market, the majority at the minute aren't selling, hence price undercutting. Increasing coin value.

And therefore generating more coins, or burning them up buying packs?

Wow do you sit on the same lectures as dro?

don't need to generate more coins or buy packs to lower the value of currency. that's the supply side of it

he is referring to the demand side. if the coins are in lower demand then their price will fall

stop embarrassing yourself. stick to what you know - bits of history and essays on man utd

Coin prices aren't falling they're rising.

Already proven as much. The other guy made up complete bullshit about the market to sound smart without using a single fact.

It's supply and demand, not supply or demand where both variables can influence overall price not just one

Honestly, last night I explained these basics to my cat and she understood it thoroughly. It really is no wonder you could only get accepted into some second rate university

I don't buy coins online so I can't see previous prices from ordering. The trend from previous FIFA's all show decreasing coin prices...why would it be any different for this game? If anything, coins would depreciate even more because the coin multipliers increase the supply of coins into in the market. Sounds like you got ripped off bro, but I also want to see what cam has to say, because I don't think he would have commented if he wasn't informed.

Stop trying to project your own image onto me. I already told you what I study and where I studied it. My degree is good, my grades are good, and my university is good. I get that I touched a nerve when I found it amusing you did an essay on Man Utd...I guess I apologise for hurting your feelings.
