a year ago i would have agreed. atm i'm not quite sure if he still got it. however, if there's any club where his career could get back on track it's mainz i think...

lets also keep in mind that almost all players leaving hamburg actually can perform somewhere else, its become some kind of curse :rofl:

well the fact that he cost us no transfer fee certainly helps... will be interesting to see who we sign as striker and which system we'll be playing. he could be competing with de blasis / jairo / malli / parker for a spot in the team...

wow, really? didn't know that and makes no sense imo. i mean, you can have polter, i don't care too much about him although he did fine for union last season, but i don't think we need hennings. he's a good 2. bundesliga striker, sure. and maybe he'd do fine in 1. bundesliga, who knows but - we already signed niederlechner (who's not only younger but also more versatile and fits better into our system than hennings imo) so we really have no need for a second lower tier striker (no offense)...
