well yeah i wouldn't have him nailed on as a starter on playing at LB, or man marking anyone at all. But at CDM/CB he'd be a proper fit still at United, especially with how he reads the game. always liked him.

He'll probably slot in back in CDM when de Jong leaves for Barca. It really is his best position imo.

And I'll never forget his godly assist for the RvP Flying Dutchman goal vs Spain in 2014.

don't the refs know that there is a var in cl now? let close situations play out and then check if it was offside - that's what you're supposed to do ffs. that's three times now...
