The FA has announced that Chelsea striker Diego Costa has been charged by for violent conduct following an on-field incident which was not seen by the match officials but caught on video.
The player has until 6pm on Thursday to respond to the charge.
Following a review of an incident during the game involving Costa and Liverpool's Martin Skrtel, The FA will not be taking any further action.

So it was the first "stomp" they are charging him for?

Strange, I'd have said that was the one of the two most in doubt.

I think the Squirtle one was the most in doubt for me.

Either way, he got what he deserved, Fabregas out too, we will probably still lose because we've forgotten how to score.

I would guess Chelsea will argue it and he will still be available for the weekend, wont he?

If Ivory Coast lose today does that mean Yaya will be back for the weekend or no?

Yeah, if Ivory Coast lose there's a chance Yaya and Bony will be back for Saturday.

I read that if it is reviewed it will be reviewed on Friday, I'm honestly more excited to see what Mourinho has to say :lol:

1. Yaya Toure slaps and kicks Mata - Nothing.
2. Aguero two footed stamp/lunge on Luiz - Nothing.
3. Jonny Evans studs into the chest of Drogba - Nothing (instead yellow for Drogba for simulation).
4. Wenger crossed the line and pushed Jose - Nothing
5. Jose says there is a campaign against Chelsea and fined by FA.
6. Costa gets a three match ban for an unintentional stamp... That's FA for you - The corrupt act and numerous penalties not awarded to us over the course of two months.. Freaking ridiculous. There is indeed a campaign against Chelsea.

Saw someone post this, and he is exactly right, number 3 pissed me off
