Mallorca has finally signed a coach for the upcoming season, it will be Albert "Chapi" Ferrer, former Barça and Chelsea player.

Out of the 6-7 potential candidate, he's among the ones I really didn't want to see hired... our club legend and sports director Miquel Angel Nadal has hired 3 managers so far, and all 3 of them have been hisformer team mates, either at Mallorca or at Barcelona... it's ridiculous, he's only signing his friends.

But whatever, we'll have to support Chapi now. Hopefully he will be the one to get us promoted. He did promote Córdoba 2 seasons ago though, which is quite an achievement, but it was with incredible fluke, kind of like how Di Matteo won his CL (not to mention that he actually won the playoff final because Las Palmas fans invaded the pitch to celebrate promotion in the 93rd minute, stopping the game for 10 minutes, and then the distracted Las Palmas players conceded the goal that promoted Córdoba once the remaining minute was played).

Yep, he's just ridiculously lucky to have that CL on his CV.

Yeah, sad and funny at the same time

Las Palmas fans deserved it though for being so stupid... Córdoba hadn't done shit all game, Las Palmas players had been really solid but their fans ruined it. The mistake they made in defense makes it very obvious that the pitch invasion had completely distracted them. Here's a video about it, the goal was scored at 3:30

Las Palmas fans invaded the pitch twice that day, once to celebrate and the second time to riot

A little recap of OHL's transfer window so far:

Players in:

Jordan Remacle from Lokeren -> Great transfer, Remacle is a club hero and had his best few seasons when OHL got promoted and played their first season in the first division, he then left for AA Gent but he couldn't make a breaktrough and at Lokeren he also didn't play to much.
Pierre-Yves Ngawa -> Decent transfer, he's a left back who got relegated with Lierse but he might be a good buy.
Roberto Regales -> Striker from Lommel, he was the top scorer of the second division last season so we know he can score goals, slightly overweight tho. (Ronaldo esque)

Players out:

Guiseppe Rossini -> Shame but he didn't have the ability to play in the first division anymore, getting really old.
Ibrahim Somé -> Somewhat surprising, was a good winger for us but the board thinks he wouldn't be able to focus in the first division, can understand that.
Kenny Thompson -> A cult hero leaving, real shame! But he's going to Antwerp, a club two divisions lower.
Senne Vits -> Promising keeper and a mate of mine, he just got himself a transfer to Standard to try his luck there.
Dion Cools -> Real shame, very promising fullback and had loads of playtime for his age.

Las Palmas has a new chance to promote to Primera now: it's the 2nd leg of the playoff final today B)

Zaragoza won the first leg by 3-1, which gives them a clear advantage. There are no pk shootouts in the playoffs though, if the game ends 3-1 for Las Palmas after ET then Las Palmas will qualify due to them having finished above Zaragoza in the league.

In the likely event of Zaragoza promoting, it will be the 3rd time in the 4 seasons of promotion playoff history where the worst placed team (6th) promotes

So I have this game at 7 pm, then Copa América at 9pm and 11:30pm B)

these play offs are just as bad as the relegation games here in germany

complete joke imo, that the 6th gets to primera instead of the 3rd because of two fucking games
there were already over 40 in segunda

so unfair

Basicly how OHL got promoted, won the title in the fall ( we were first then) and then we slipped up to the 6th place, but won via play offs
