Meunier to PSG

Another wierd transfer.

PSG have Aurier, Van der Wiel and Marquinhos that play RB, they would all have to leave for Meunier to have a chance..

He's a great player and he played a decent EC, but he won't be able to beat those

Van der Wiel signed for Fenerbahce.

They'd probably do ok, but I believe they'd have their flaws exposed and not live up to the expectations, like other defensive Serie A stars such as Materazzi, Thuram, Cannavaro, Zambrotta, etc.

Perhaps if they played in a very italian-minded team they would shine as much as they do in Italy, but it's hard to transform a foreign team to an italian minded one.

I'm not taking away anything from these italian defenders; they are the probably the best in the world at defending the spaces they are given in the system they play in, but they are so specialized at it that most of them struggle when adapting to a different system.

Marquinhos is primarily a CB though.
