Was weird seeing the likes of Reus struggle so much today.
The subs did it for Dortmund tho, Pulisic and Dahoud brought alot of pace into the game and even Kagawa had some nice moments.

to be fair, lone striker is neither reus' best nor his preferred position - and since alcacer is injured, dortmund really doesn't have many options there. i probably would have put philipp up front (pretty sure they didn't even nominate their other striker option, isak, for the champions league) and reus on the left but sure, he still has enough individual quality to perform better.

thats what happens when for some reason certain people get the idea that you dont need proper strikers anymore

how dortmund only managed to get one guy on loan just before the end of the window is beyond me
i speak from experience, bayern having only lewa in the squad for a long time backfired more than once

dortmund has lots of talent, they dont even need a superstar striker and that fellow would score 20+ a season with the likes of reus around him

Wellthen, the only real complaint I have is that the ref appointed for Barcelona - PSV was horrible. PSV did what they could, Messi made superb goals with his positioning and that freekick was unstoppable to say the least. The few chances PSV could create they weren't solid in their last pass or someone went for goal when they shouldn't have.

4 sounds like a lot, but those goals would have went in against anyone I dare say. All in all I saw a PSV had to and can learn a lot from matches like this.

It's the details that matter in these matches and teams make very clear where improvement can and should be made.
