ah, the ultimate sign of a strong argument: changing the subject...

from wikipedia:

Klose was born in the Silesian city of Opole, Poland. Both of his parents were professional athletes.[9] His father, Josef Klose, was a professional footballer who played for Odra Opole, before leaving communist Poland in 1978 to play for French team AJ Auxerre.[10] His mother, Barbara Jeż, was a member of the Poland women's national handball team. As an ethnic German and German national, Josef Klose was an Aussiedler whose family had remained behind when Silesia was awarded to Poland after World War II and decided to bring his family to Germany.[4] In 1986, then eight-year-old Miroslav joined his father in Kusel, Rhineland-Palatinate, knowing only two words of German.[11] Klose developed his skill and passion in football from the village club, SG Blaubach-Diedelkopf, which at the time was in the German seventh division. He was also trained as an apprentice to become a carpenter.[12][13]

Klose and his wife Sylwia have twin sons, Luan and Noah.[14][15] In a 2007 interview with Der Spiegel, he stated that he and his wife speak Polish to their children at home, while the children learn German in school.[16] Klose has not held Polish citizenship since the age of eighteen, as he then opted for a German passport.[17]

Klose is a Roman Catholic.[18][19]

The dog example was stupid. Because looks like a dog (doubt there is a single black german mother in your country), walks & barks like a dog, there's a high chance he's a dog, you get it, dog ? A half dog half wolf would be killed if left amongst other wolves day one perhaps and probably cast away from the dog community awell. Then he could become a proud german dog
Your only defence can be the fact that you might be a reptilian ^^^

German law allows (1) persons descending from German nationals of any ethnicity or (2) persons of ethnic German descent and living in countries of the former Warsaw Pact (as well as Yugoslavia) the right to "return" to Germany and ("re")claim German citizenship (Aussiedler/Spätaussiedler "late emigrants"; de:Aussiedler). After legislative changes in late 1992 this right is de facto restricted to ethnic Germans from the former Soviet Union. As with many legal implementations of the Right of Return, the "return" to Germany of individuals who may never have lived in Germany based on their ethnic origin or their descent from German nationals has been controversial. The law is codified in Article 116 of the Basic Law for the Federal Republic of Germany, which provides access to German citizenship for anyone "who has been admitted to the territory of the German Reich within the boundaries of December 31, 1937 as a refugee or expellee of German ethnic origin or as the spouse or descendant of such person".[18] In those territories lived a Polish minority, which also had German citizenship and after World War II lived in Poland. Those Polish people are also Aussiedler/Spätaussiedler and came especially in the 1980s to Germany (examples: Lukas Podolski, Eugen Polanski, among others)[19]

Learn your history. Apart from that, did you know Klose was born outside germany, arrived in your country aged 8, knowing just 2 german words ? So, let's repeat : Born in Poland, From mother and father that both played for polish national team, father has some "bogus" right to resettle in germany, that makes Miroslav (german legit name) a pure german.

It's simpler than that, it's an issue of citizenship
German citizen uncapped by another nation -> eligible to play for that nation

Everyone just needs to deal with it, it's not like Boateng and others were kidnapped and forced to play for the country they do, it's the complete opposite

That's pure bullshit. Hey, france national team comes to mind. Ghana 2.0.
On that account, would you be okay if Qatar started to import foreign players the way France & Germoney does it to win World Cups ?
Be careful how you answer, Ozil & Khedira might give you a smile :D

each and every german player was raised here and went through the german youth system, poldi is the only one who wasn't born here but like klose he moved here as a young child.
unlike poland, italy, turkey, croatia, spain, romania, portugal... we do NOT import players. we are actually "exporting" quite a lot (mostly to the usa & turkey)...

that you can't handle germans who aren't white is your problem. your bigotry doesn't make them less german though...

If they lived in Qatar long enough to be citizens, and have not been called up for another country and played for them and chose that, I'm not sure why that would bother anyone lmao.

I really don't understand why this is a hard concept to grasp. The majority of this forum does not support their local club, but this is fine. If a player chooses to play for a country he is eligible for and has every right to do so, it's supposed to be a bad thing?

80% of Argentina's team is of Italian descent and would be eligible for Italy including Messi... At what point do they become naturalized Argentines?

Playing for a national team amounts to citizenship. It does not change innate characteristics you are born with or your family before you were born with but if you identify with that country more then all the power to you.

I feel you bro. We have had this discussion in Nederland for many many years. And we also lose quite a few players to Morocco.

Country is a different thing, you see. While i think nationalism is a stupid idea, why hold an european championship -which is based mostly on that idea -if you are a fan of globalisation and the integration of people from colonies in your country ?

Minimum 3 generations.
