Never, this was his best season as of yet when you look at the statistics.

League- not good.

Did make Europa league final and the league cup final but as you all know, we lost them. Looking forward to seeing what klopp can do with a squad he wants.

Yep and best overall performance too. League cup and CL. He always failed to deliver somwhere now he did. Ofc you are never going to win it with PSG but that is another story.

our season was pretty nice. finished 6th (which is our second best ever bundesliga finish) and qualified for europe league.
our most expensive signings (muto and frei) did a good job for us but unfortunately both were injured for half a season each (muto, the replacement for okazaki in the 2nd half, and frei in the 1st half of the season).

highlights of the season were most certainly the away win at bayern, the strong finish, and the realisation that we managed to sign yet another really talented coach who fits perfectly into our club.

unfortunately, things aren't looking too bright in the near future. as usual, we're losing our best players (karius and baumgartlinger already gone, malli very likely to leave too) but even worse, we lost the mastermind behind our modest "success" in the last couple of decades, christian heidel, to schalke...

Won the league and promotion to Bundesliga 5 points clear and ahead of plastic club Leipzig, even though we lost some of our best players due to relegation after the last season. Great season and looking forward to watching live Bundesliga football again
