höwedes would actually be the best case scenario amongst the players in question imo - i can only hope löw does this. 2nd "best" would be rudy imo... both are not really fullbacks in their clubs though...

well i'm not exactly happy with the idea (pretty sure i already suggested it a while ago) but imo durm would at least have been a natural right back to pick.
now i know, he's been injured for more than half of the season (same is true for höwedes though) and it's not like he has been outstanding or anything - BUT he has been very solid in his games and again... he's a natural fullback who plays that position in his club ffs - can't stress that enough...

then again, if he doesn't even invite schmelzer, it's pretty obvious that durm wasn't anywhere close to making löw's list...
