Damn

English schools are supposed to offer german/spanish/French but because of a teacher shortage while I was at school we could only do French.

Spanish, english, catalan, french and german here

I could choose between french and german, but I took both

French doesn't count since it's your native language
Spanish is a pain in the ass imo.. They speak so fast

French is without a doubt my worst language of them all.

German is native in Mallorca.

i think spanish is one of the easiest languages to learn - at least in terms of grammar. the vocabulary is also pretty easy - at least for someone who took french and latin before...
sure, you have to get used to the different sounds and pronunciations but once you got that down it's certainly easier than french or german (which is obviously extremely difficult - even for native speakers)...

i just wish i would have had the option to take it as my 3rd language, but i had to choose between french and latin...

I always hated Spanish at school, the only interesting thing was the teacher I had for one year, the rest was just meeeh.
Learning the vocabulary, the different sounds is what I realy hate, there is no thinking to do but stupid learning most of the time
