I think it's more about public image. If it becomes known that you hire pedo's, it's not good for business.
Yes I know it's about public image, but I can't give two shits about such things, he made a mistake probably pays the fine/does the time. As far as I'm concerned it's over with. It's not like he raped her right. If she was willing to sleep with him it's not that big of a deal. I've got a friend myself who was 14 at the time that I met her. I didn't know that, lucky for me I had a girlfriend at the time so nothing happened. But she is 23 now and looks more or less the same. If she was coming on to me hard and I was single I would have probably done it. People are way to concerned with stupid shit. A football club who employs someone who made that kind of mistake, fuckoff man. Worry about how well your team is performing what the fuck do I care about what they are doing. Do you feel what I'm getting at? I'm not condoning it, but these type of things should be held separarte IMO. I have the same issues with papparazzi shooting pictures of this kinds of stuff for stupid people who then go telling people how they want their favorite business of footballclub or whatever to be run. That's the wrong way round IMO. I feel like my English isn't strong enough to make a valid point and I'm not attacking you in any way, I just get really frustrated by these type of bullshit situations.
See it like this, I work for a company. I slept with a 15 year old girl knowingly. Im 25. The company finds out somehow and want to fire me because of this because of political reasons (read: bad press) they actually don't have a leg to stand on in court if I have a contract and are doing my job well.
