I have always said you better leave him at home. The team is build around him, but at some point you'll lose him and need to play diffirently. Its almost impossible. I didn't even like hem when he played for PSV. The fact that he scored a lot made him loved but he could have gotten 30 goals and 40 assists that season. Stupid solo with head down. Maked me angry thinking about it since he can have so much more potential.

A pleyer like that is crucial to every team, guy that can take 1, perhaps even 2 defenders out and either : try solo or find a teammate.
Being selfish & egomaniac was one of robben's biggest assets. Next was pace and close ball control. His dribbles are predictable as fuck, thing is when you add speed to that, no time to react. Due to injuries, speeds fades away, depending on how fast speed goes we can estimate how quickly he will fade.
Regardless : World class winger and one of Groningen's best products.

thats why i say that we play better football without him, the effectiveness of his cut inside and shoot trick is getting worse with every week tbh
sure he has amazing skills and all, he was crucial to our treble, but also for the fail 2012 with is ego show
it got much better last season, but atm he was the typical ego robben again, head down solos....

also it annoyed me how he stole the pelanty vs leverkusen from vidal, who just got the ball from müller
you dont do that to a teammate

the robben/ribery time at bayern is up

What a nonsense, seriously, how can you leave your best player at home. His selfishness is what makes him a great player. There isn't a single player in the world that is as good as Robben at what he does. I didn't hear you saying all this last year when he almost solo carried us to the World Cup finals.

The thing with players like Robben is they can be invisible an entire game, and can break open a game in the final minutes with one great action. He is always really fanatic aswell. That's not all, everytime you see him play for our national team, he has at least 2 defenders on him (which frees up the rest of the players). Narsingh is not good enough to get that much attention from the other team, just because he needs way more space to be useful in a game ...

To ampoo: Robben isn't the kind of player you need in the small matches, he is the kind of player who makes the difference in the big matches. You can't judge him on this and the latter half of past season, he's been very unlucky with injuries and he doesn't have the needed match fitness yet.

Still, i'd take a 75% fit robben over narsingh or any other right winger (from the Netherlands) any day.

its not about judging, robben was incredible last season and he worked hard for the team until his injury (season before that he was doing great as well)
that hard working "team robben" that pep managed to create was probably the best form in which i have ever seen him

so far this season he turned to old habits again unfortunately

With Dapey in this godly form, anything can happen.
It's basically like a tree on the pitch.
