I have always had the same problem with womens sports. But with football its ridiculous. They don't have any strategy they are the paid version of any local team, kicking the ball forward running after it and then kicking it forward again. The only thing I can take a bit seriously is womens fieldhockey.

well there are a couple of women's sports that are quite watchable imo. you mentioned field hockey and i agree. volleyball too imo (the indoor kind ofc, beach volleyball is just an abomination and awful to watch even if the players are somewhat hot imo), maybe handball but i'm not 100% sure since i don't watch that sport too much in general...

but things like football, basketball or tennis (i agree with your countryman krajicek here, a bunch of fat and lazy pigs)... maybe if they had smaller goals and fields to play on, i dunno... it's just that the skill and tactical difference is so incredibly high in each and every aspect of the game, it makes it almost comical...

The quality of it has been improving tho.. In the future it can and most likely will be taken more serious.

Bigger goals, smaller fields imo. at least then we can be bored with 9-7 score lines.

Why would women devote to their lives to playing football as a career if they only earn £15000 a year? Until it becomes a career choice with the proper monetary incentive, the quality of women's football will always be sub-par.

i was tuning in to see IF there is any improvement since the last time i saw any womens football
and seriously, its absolutely ridiculous

even the crappy third team of my local farmer club has guys with better ball handling than so calledwomens top teams
our german girls, 10:0 win and i was still like "wtf is this"

missing athletics and all fine, but why cant they play a 5 meter pass?

You need to take into account that they don't get as much attention as the males do, they don't have the same education and have different bodies.

In my opinion the womens football is improving, remember seeing a match a few years ago that was even worse than the typical tottenham game but right now the BIG games are actually very entertaining

is it really a matter of attention if they cant do the simplest things with the ball?

whats especially awful is the missing awareness, the ball comes to a player, no pressure at all and she kicks it uncontrolled into nowhere and her teammates applaud for the awesome clearence

i get your point, but this is simply a joke for individuals who train every day
it will get better at some point, but with the current pace it will need a century xD

the big games are more about the tension imo than actual quality imo

Good joke. Someone has access to the internet. Congrats.

Well aren't you a little bit of a twat xD

In real terms though, I think it is good to get women in to football... I managed to convince my gf last year that she wanted to go to see us play Liverpool at Anfield in the league cup... So we drove there for her bday present xD Women liking football is not such a bad thing...
