Appreciate the clarification, and what I meant is, is that spanish players tend to get more credit than foreign players (Bale for example gets targeted pretty easly)

Also I remember this xpgen guy complain about james, di maria, etc etc (I know this isn't a real madrid fan tho)

xPGen is something like B4al but 70%less(nobody can reach Catalunya and B4al)... so credility or hes words because is mostly raging

I was one of the few who didn't like Özil and was happy to see him leave and get replaced with Isco... but it's not because he's spanish and the other is German, it's because I think he is way better (or at least reliable).

Di María had some problems when he sided with Mourinho when Bernabeu wanted Mourinho out, but so did many other players that also sided with the manager; it was a temporary thing. Just look at the last game Di María played for Madrid (the Supercopa vs Atlético), he got a huge ovation.

James is loved... and Modric is adored.

Just out of interest, why didn't you like Ozil?

This... although it was more the overall inconsistency of his performances and the choking in big games that bugged me way more than the laziness... he could have worked harder, but he wasn't a slothball either tbf.

I did like him at first though, but I ended up losing my faith and patience in him.

If it helps, Özil has really changed this season. He puts in the most miles (after Sanchez ofc) and track back alot more.
