So anyway, it seems silly but the point of my thread was that I am starting to watch EPL (I'm American) and want to pick a club to root for.

Since I'm not even from the country, I don't really have any affinity for any of the clubs so any choice seems arbitrary, I figured I'd go with the one that most Americans support. Lol, it sounds stupid, but meh.

Just watch a lot of teams play, and at one point you'll "feel" something for a team.

Don't support Utd or Chelsea and you'll be fine

I'd say united as well...unfortunately.

But if you ask anyone who has any type of united gear on, they know not a damn thing about it. It is just sold the most here

If you want the best team go for chelsea, if you can wait a year or two go for chelsea or United
If you want a good team go for city
If you want decent teams go for arsenal-Spurs-liverpool
Everton is a good choice aswell

Facepalm
I could never root for anything that I have no connection to
But you might just go the Common way and support whoever wins the league

If you need hints about who would be a good choice pm umade. He switches clubs on a regular base

question is really what style do you like to watch?
i like possession and quick passing/cheeky link up plays with epic goals
that or teams that can clear it up field and hold the ball up. i hate teams that sit and break away.. prob why i dislike chelsea last season.

Watching sports isn't nearly as fun if you don't have a team to root for.

To be honest I've just started getting into the sport so I'm still learning the tactical aspect of the game.

Stupid privileged European thought.

Just cuz we're American, we can't support a team overseas?
