Ricardo Rodriguez > James Rodriguez

no, but it still would have been the better investment for real imo. they don't need another offensive midfielder. a good fullback however...

I'm surprised no top club have made an official bid for Ricardo, atleast none that I've heard of.

me too. not only has he played a very impressive season at wolfsburg but he also had a very decent world cup in an overall not too exciting team imo.
then again, wolfsburg might not have the name and history, but they certainly the financial potential of a "bigger" club... as the signing of gustavo or de bruyne might suggest...

and it would not surprise me if they were able to establish themselves as the third best german club in the near future (battling schalke and leverkusen for that position)...

If they can manage to keep their talents such as rodriguez etc they could definatly fight for that spot.
Malanda had a great start as well, until he got injuried, so if he comes back expect more good things from him aswell.

It's also great to see De Bruyne slowly getting back into great form, ended the season really well

Does james get more likes due to his attractiveness or ..?

Btw is his jersey sales some sort of record for a footballer?

Why doesn't just every club spend £71m on a player if you can get back nearly 1/3 of that amount within a week of signing said player?
