Some facts about the list I noticed as I was running it:
Cameroon, Honduras, Iran, Nigeria, Bosnia, Russia and Ghana are the only teams without players on the list.
Nigeria was the only team that proceded from the group stage and didn't get any of their players into the list.
Germany had the most players on the list (13). You can even make a proper starting XI made out of only german players from the list.

even more when it includes benzema in top3, I don't understand why people rate him so high at this wc, he hasn't been outstanding at all
great work op, I like the list and think it's very accurate, should do that again for CL ! :-)
hmm, I guess I could do that... the problem is though that while most people here watched at least 1 or 2 of the 3 WC games we had ever day, for the CL they'll only watch 1 or 2 out of the 8 games played per every CL night

a good list, thx zark for running it.
and the result is surprisingly accurate although i'm not really a fan of these kind of point based rankings since a player who had one outstanding match and like 4 really bad performances could still make it into the top 10...
Well this is what I was fearing aswell (and it's kind of inevitable when we only have 7 rounds of votings), but out of the top 25 players on the list, all except 4 of them (Suárez, Boateng, Shaqiri and Götze) were voted in different weeks.

why is oscar so low? he was the only good brazillian in every game (except maybe the germany game which i didn't see live)
I disagree, I think he wasn't good most of the time. A better question would be why Aurier, Cuadrado, Halliche, Reza, Teo Rodriguez, Mehmedi, Musa or Rojo got no points at all.
