that's not fair imo. cavani was the heart and the lung of an overall pretty weak uruguay team. never complained, worked his ass off for suarez and lazy forlan...
actually i wonder what game you're thinking of where he was bad.

1st game vs. costa rica he was by far uruguay's best player. made the goal and was the only one who fought back.
2nd game vs. england with an assist for suarez and overall great game, was the 2nd best player imo.
3rd game vs. italy definitely their best offensive player, only better players imo were gonzalez and godin...
and even vs. colombia he was the only one who even tried to make something happen. sure, rios was their best player that match but still...
