Puskas was so unlucky though. His team was unbeaten for 40+ games in a row, they beat Germany 8-2 in the group stage then end up losing 4-3 or something to GERMANY in the final. That's just not fair, lol.

The problem is people don't like to compare Messi with Di Stefano, Puaskas, Van Basten, Cruyff etc.

They like to compare him with Zidane / Pele / Maradona <_<

Arguably the best left back of all time doesn't deserve a spot? I think if you ask 1000 people to make their greatest XI of all time 45% will have Carlos as LB, the other 45% Maldini and 10% on other LBs ^^

Maldini was one of the best defenders of all time... defensivewise the best LB ever
