i dont agree. yes, the acting was horrible and unsportsmanlike, but the tackle itself was easily worthy of a red card imo. if klinsmann had not jumped there, he could have easily broken his leg...

There was no contact. Watch the replays. He dived straight forward. Then rolled and even jumped for extra acting points. He should have been awarded the red, not the other guy.

yes, no contact and bad acting, that's both true. but if you knew the rules of football you'd know this is a red anyway. because the tackle was clearly aimed at the player only, his only intention was to hurt him, studs up... if you do that you don't have to make contact to receive a red card.
