If found guilty he would have to pay 6 times the amount he evaded (around 26M€) and spend 2-6 years in prison... at least that's the sentence a "normal" person would face. It's a bit complicated because the first 2 years he evaded taxes he was underage and it was his father who was legally responsable of this. Meanwhile Messi claims this is all handled by his advisors... so he's kind of blaming it on them, but I guess he's still responsable unless he can proove he was tricked by these financial and legal advisors; not sure how it works.

It would be sad if this was all true, but in any case I want justice to be served.

I'm sure that if he's guilty he'll just delay this for years and then run back to Argentina, like Maradona has done.
