one big trophy like inside 10 years? which year was ''that night in istanbul'' that they couldnt stop yapping about before the latest cl?

Don't fool yourself, it's annoying to see the team you hate do good and you know it.

You should atleast be able to admit that, I'm annoyed how Spurs are so much better than us at this moment.

Man City at the moment are probably the greatest team in the Prem history and yet Liverpool look like they might outdo them - two of our fiercest rivals being so much better than us at the moment while we're a complete mess under clueless ownership and management couldn't be any more depressing football wise :lol:

one cl trophy in 14 years isnt going to send me into a meltdown.
im not belittling the cl. every team wants to win it and gz to them for that win.
its the league i am more concerned about. if the day comes when the league trophy ends up on the red half of merseyside then i'll prob hide inside a cave for a few months.

they can do how the hell well they want. these things dont last. its the trophies that count.
ok i'll get a little pissed if they won another cl this year. but thats about it

nah, trophies are not everything - even putting aside the CL win, would you rather play amazing, very pleasing to the eye football, but just fall short of winning the league while breaking your total points record in the process or clog around the pitch playing the ball aimlessly, finish the season miles off the top but win the Europa League or another second rate trophy?

agree here mostly. squad needs additions, it got gutted without enough reinforcements to allow Ole to play whatever style he wants
winning a couple trophies would be ideal but i’d rather show progress in terms of style and substance
